This is a Library Day where students engaged in a "Blind Date" activity to discover different types of books.

This was the day of the 6th grade field trip.

Students watched "Blue Planet II: Season 1, Episode 7" and completed guided notes on it (for a classwork grade). Any students who were absent will be exempt from this assignment.

Students had a work day to help them catch up on their previously assigned work. Homework focus questions were due at the end of class, and workbooks must be resubmitted for grading on Friday.

Students completed their End-of-Unit Assessment for Module 1.

This was a prep day for Module 2! Students checked out a copy of "Flush" and were given 4 sheets to put into their workbooks: the Flush vocabulary sheets (glued to pages 24-25 in the workbook), the green Learning Targets sheet (stapled to page 26 in the workbook), and the yellow Reading Calendar sheet (stapled to page 27 in the workbook). Digital copies of these are available on the "Announcement & Resources" tab of this website.
Students began Module 3 of the EL Curriculum.
